End User License Agreement (EULA) for 3D models (.STL files)

1 Subject of the Agreement This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) governs the use of the downloadable 3D models in STL format (“Files”) provided by [company name] (“Licensor”). The license terms differ for commercial and private customers.

2. grant of license The licensor grants the purchaser (“licensee”) a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the files. The license terms differ as follows:

• Private use:

  • The files may only be used for personal, non-commercial use.
  • It is not permitted to modify, resell or distribute the files.

• Commercial use:

  • The files may be used and sold for the production of physical products.
  • The digital files may not be passed on, resold or published.

3. restrictions The licensee may not use the files:

• Resell, distribute or pass on, neither free of charge nor commercially,
• Upload, share or distribute in modified or unmodified form,
• Integrate into software, apps or other digital products that are sold or passed on to third parties,
• Declare the files as your own creation or as open source material.

4 Ownership and copyright All rights to the files remain with the licensor. The licensee does not receive any ownership rights or copyrights to the files.

5. right of revocation According to the current revocation policy, there is no right of revocation as soon as the download of the file has been made available and the customer has previously expressly agreed to waive the right of revocation.

6. disclaimer of warranty The files are provided“as is“, without express or implied warranties of any kind. The licensor is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the files.

7 Limitation of liability In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the files.

8. termination of the license This license expires automatically if the licensee violates any of the terms of this EULA. Upon termination, the licensee must stop using the files and delete all copies.
