This soldering tip is perfectly adapted to the pins of the analog sticks on xBox, PS4 and PS5 controllers. There is a hole on the back where you can insert the soldering tip and then screw in the supplied screw on the side to attach the attachment to the tip.
The standard and professional desoldering adapter variants are both excellent for desoldering the analog sticks, the “standard desoldering adapter” variant is sufficient for end customers.
For commercial customers and hobby modders, we recommend the “professional desoldering adapter” version. The professional desoldering adapter has a holder on the side, which can be used to completely clean excess solder directly with the soldering pump in 1-2 attempts. This makes the Hallstick conversion even faster. Sticks can be completely changed in 2 minutes.
The desoldering attachments can be used universally with all soldering tips. We recommend taking an old tip, snipping/grinding it off and then inserting it. This increases the contact surface and the attachment heats up faster. The desoldering aid works best for desoldering analog sticks in combination with our 181 degree soldering paste

We recommend a soldering iron with at least 80 watts to be able to heat the soldering tip sufficiently. This method eliminates the need for a hot air gun and significantly reduces the risk of damage to the circuit board.
